Finishing, Shipping Warehouse Operator

LYON CINTRAGE SEIGNOBOS, a company based in the Corbas/Vénissieux industrial zone (69), is a 40-person SME specializing in tube bending and mechanically welded assembly of bent tubes for prototypes and small and medium production runs. Product diversity and low production quantities per Manufacturing Orders (OF) are key characteristics.

Keep control of our product flows so our customers never run short

Your mission:

At the heart of the company’s flows, you have two missions: 1. Managing receiving, the warehouse and making parts available to the various workstations 2. Helping prepare customer orders and subcontracting shipments, which also include parts finishing operations.

Your activities:

  • You receive supplier orders for components physically and in the system, and carry out incoming inspection
  • You store components and finished parts for stock, and carry out cycle counts
  • You prepare component kits for certain departments and follow up with suppliers in case of delays
  • You carry out the final operations before customer orders are made available (engraving, labelling, dye penetrant testing, pickling, crimping, packaging, etc.)
  • You prepare parts before subcontracting (engraving, masking, dye penetrant testing, etc.) and support the Shipping and Quality managers (checks before and after subcontracting, receiving orders)
  • You handle trips to subcontractors or nearby customers
  • You fill in the OFs based on the work carried out to ensure traceability of operations
  • With your colleagues, you ensure the warehouse is organized and kept clean

Your work environment:

Working relationships: The department manager, the Quality department, the journeymen in the various workshops (“your internal customers”), suppliers and subcontractors, and the production director.

Line management / team leadership responsibility: Your manager is the “Finishing, Warehouse and Shipping” manager. You have no line management responsibility.

Required professional knowledge:

  • Reading manufacturing orders and drawings
  • Comfortable with IT tools; knowledge of the Clipper ERP is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of stock management and incoming inspection
  • Knowledge of finishing operations (engraving, dye penetrant testing, crimping, etc.) is a plus
  • Forklift driving (CACES) is a plus
  • Category B driving licence (travel to subcontractors and nearby customers)
