A very nuclear second half for Lyon Cintrage!
9 December 2024We opened our doors to our Families, Customers, Suppliers, Elected Officials and Friends to celebrate our centenary.
It is with great pride that we have opened On October 9 and 10, we opened our doors to those who are important to us. Naturally, our families were the first to discover our 3500m² workshop. The wonder in our children’s eyes was matched only by their joy at seeing where Daddy and Mummy work… What a joy to drink together in a museum created especially for the occasion. Bastien and Louis-Baptiste had displayed a selection of our creations around our UNI40, now retired and bought new in 1984 by Mr. Deguerry (the last manager to be a member of the Seignobos family).

Nearly 200 people turned out the next day for an open afternoon. We had mapped out a route that began with a presentation of the company’s history, followed by an educational tour that allowed our guests to see the manufacture of a tubular office telephone holder, a souvenir that everyone was able to take home with them.

Demonstrations of bending, welding and our robot, accompanied by impassioned presentations by our journeymen, enabled us to share our trade with our audience, who were delighted to learn more about this little-known industrial profession.

At 5:00 p.m., speeches were given by Jean-Albert Grange (Managing Director from 2004 to 2024), who paid tribute to our loyal customers and to our journeymen, whose know-how excels! Michèle Picard, Mayor of Vénissieux, then spoke of the importance of industry in the city’s economic fabric, and announced the signing of a cooperation charter between the city and Lyon Cintrage. Finally, Sébastien Jonard (Managing Director) concluded by sharing the company’s ambitious plan to almost double its business by 2030, thanks to the buoyant markets in which it is positioned: Defense, Mobility and Energy.
A buffet allowed everyone to reminisce about the past, the present and the future, well into the evening…
Happy birthday LYON Cintrage Seignobos!
