Attention, Exceptional convoy!
Our planet needs energy, and if possible, decarbonized energy (see our article Lyon Cintrage, a key player in the nuclear industry). Decarbonization largely involves electrification. The clean electricity we need can be generated by wind, solar and hydro power, but also by nuclear power. So we need more enriched uranium to fuel our power plants.
So Lyon Cintrage pushed back its limits to bend the Ø168×4 aluminum tubes that will be used to increase enrichment capacity at the ORANO Georges Besse II site.
After the no less delicate process of qualification, it’s time to produce 360 elbows, for which our customer Ponticelli has placed its trust in us, and for which we would like to thank them. Ponticelli and Boccard, two of France’s great names in integration, have joined forces to bring this ambitious strategic project to fruition.
